Paris Saint-Germain want to renew Kylian Mbappe’s contract at all costs, but the player keeps on rejecting it. Leonardo met with the number ‘7’ in the middle of October to talk about his continuity at the club.

Summer 2022 is when Kylian Mbappe’s PSG contract expires. The Frenchman joined the club back in summer 2017.

The World Cup winner’s future has been a priority at the club for months since the French side are aware of the interest from top European clubs in him.

Real Madrid are one of those and the Parisians are looking to persuade the young number ‘7’ to lead the club’s project. They think it is the best for him and his bank balance. But Mbappe keeps on saying no.

According to ‘AS’, the footballer has had a proposal to renew since last year, long before the pandemic began. Mbappe, up to now, has not replied to it.

In addition, the cited media outlet says that Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, met with the star in the middle of October to talk about his continuity. The Brazilian’s aim is to renew the Frenchman at all costs, but he is still not having success.

In the meantime, Real Madrid, Liverpool and even Barcelona are rubbing their hands with glee knowing that time is in their favour and that they could get a footballer who is set to be excellent over the next decade.
