She’s known to rap in her native language “Yoruba” which is infused with relatable lyrics and slang.

She is extremely talented and does all kinds of rap including trap rap and Zanku rap.

Biography

Candy Bleakz whose real name is Akiode Blessing Mariam is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter and performer born on August 5, 1999.

She is originally from Epe area of Lagos State, where she was born and raised.

She’s also studying Physiology at the Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Career

Candy Bleakz started her career in the church but later upgraded and began showing for shows

She came through professionally in her music career in 2013 after recording her first single titled “Blessing Sky”.

She has participated in lots of shows including Lagos Talent show in 2016 where she emerged runner up and Felaboration, also in 2016 where she won the best rapper.

She came to limelight with her hit single “Owo Osu” featuring Zlatan and Naira Marley.

Signed to Chocolate city record label Candy Bleakz has released other numerous singles such as NBR Cypher, Virus, O Por Yeh, Ninu Aye and so on.
