BTS Video: Tilla – Mawobe

“Following his recent signing to Shina Peller’s Aquila Records, veteran and renowned Nigerian artist Tilla – formerly known as Tillaman – has been working hard creating new hit records for his teeming audiences across Africa.

With the release of teaser track “Caro” a few weeks ago, Tilla previewed only a glimpse of what fans and critics alike could expect from the Oyo Prince himself, who has brought us past hits including “Puyanga”, “Fori Fori” and “Ko Ma Roll”.

Tilla is now proud to announce his brand new single titled “Mawobe” which will be released on December 17, along with its official music video.

Shot on location in London, and directed by fast-rising director Alexx Adjei, the video stars MTV Shuga’s very own Dorcas Shola Fapson, with cameo appearances from award-winning dance trio D3 Dancers, Eddie Kadi and BOJ (DRB LasGidi) among others.
