Dr. P born in Benin City, Raised in Lagos until he was 18 years of age. Moved back to Benin and later relocated to South Africa to pursue his music dreams. He single handedly did his first single Assorted featuring Tari and shot the video without the assistance of a record label.
He started his own label called Hitpapa Records.
