The adorable moment a toddler saw and fell in love with her newborn sister when she met her for the first time, was captured on tape and has gone viral.

Two-year-old Madilyn Smith, has become an internet s£nsat!on as she cooed over the new addition to the family, Olivia.

The toddler’s reaction came as she and her father, Murdock Smith, visited her mother, Cynthia Smith, in hospital in Massachusetts.



The youngster, who was wearing a t-shirt saying ‘Olivia’s big sister’, held her hand to her heart and kissed her tiny sister after excitedly handing over a toy cow as a present for her.

Beaming Madilyn gently touched Olivia’s face while staring at the newborn in awe.

Her mother said;

‘Madilyn had been very excited about the arrival of her baby sister.

‘My husband and I decided not to tell her that we were having her until after she arrived at the hospital to visit.

‘My parents, who are off to the side in the video, brought Madilyn to the hospital and my husband met them downstairs to share the news with Madilyn that her baby sister had arrived.
