One Direction get ready for a mission to space in their latest music video for “Drag Me Down” released on Thursday (August 20).
It may still be debatable whether One Direction‘s new single “Drag Me Down” is really about departing member Zayn Malik, but one thing is for sure: they spared no expense on the video. Wonder quietly to yourself if the NASA-themed production is all a big-budget slap in the face to Zayn or if the guys just look really cute making their own version of Armageddon.
To prepare for their flight, Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis headed to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. In the video, directed by Ben and Gabe Turner, each member of 1D got to experience real astronaut training including using a Partial Gravity Simulator, interacting with Robonaut and driving the Space Exploration Vehicle rover.
