Portuguese-Angolan producer Batida has released a new video for his bouncy, percussion-laden track “Tá Doce,” the third single from his latest album Dois. “Tá Doce” boasts an intensely rhythmic beat infused with bold afro-house and kuduro elements. The colorful track also features a sample of The Clash‘s “Ghetto Defendant,” as well as spoken word by Portuguese slam poetry artist AF Diaphra. The video — directed by Pedro Coquenão, Vasco Mendes and Natália Alves — was shot in Batida’s hometown of Lisbon and follows two young kids as they spend the day skateboarding, sifting through records, having a jam session, and exploring the city. View the fun and lighthearted visuals for “Tá Doce”. Enjoy!
