The Cherries were deserving of their victory after taking the lead early through King, and weathering a Kean equaliser late in the first half to go into the interval ahead thanks to a Solanke header following a Rico free-kick. Stanislas provided the insurance 10 minutes from time with a lovely curled finish - but the win would prove not enough as Bournemouth’s points tally of 34 is not enough to keep them in the Premier League, finishing 18th. The loss drops Everton into 12th.
