Bayern are on the road this weekend as they travel to Schalke, while Augsburg welcome Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.
Robert Lewandowski's early penalty proved to be enough as Bayern Munich held out for a 1-0 win over Augsburg at the WWK Arena. Although, the Bundesliga leaders survived a second-half scare when substitute Alfred Finnbogason failed to convert from the penalty spot.
Nevertheless, the three points are enough to move Hansi Flick's side seven points clear at the top of the table, while registering their first clean sheet in eight attempts.
