It’s been two long years since Tyler, The Creator liberated his fifth studio LP IGOR, a conceptual album that saw the multi-talent continue to push the boundaries of hip hop and music overall.

The 12-track body of work saw mostly uncredited assists from Kanye West, Charlie Wilson, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and more, all of which amounted to Tyler’s first number one placement on the Billboard 200 thanks to an impressive 165,000 first week album equivalent units.

Since then, Tyler’s been increasing his profile in the fashion world, expanding his Golf Wang and Golf le Fleur collections while appearing in GQ Magazine and Gucci ads with close friend A$AP Rocky. He didn’t remove himself from music completely — this year did see him contribute to Brent Faiyaz’s “Gravity” and team up with Coca-Cola for “Tell Me How.”
