In celebration of Hip Hop’s 49th birthday today (Aug. 11), DJ Premier pays homage to the ’90s in his Hip Hop 50 Volume 1’s first video, “Remy Rap”.

Directed by Maya Table, Remy Ma and Rapsody don their throwback gear while spitting bars on a rooftop and conduction their own photoshoot, while Preemo mans the 1s & 2s.

DJ Premier’s Hip Hop 50 Volume 1 , is five-song EP featuring

collaborations with Lil Wayne, Nas, Remy Ma, Rapsody, Joey Bada$$, Slick Rick, and Run The Jewels. It is the first of 10-part series of EPs to celebrate Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary and will each be curated by the likes of Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The Dream, Mike Will Made It, No I.D., Hit-Boy, Take A Daytrip, and Tainy.
