American singer-songwriter Mike Posner released a new song “I'm Not Dead Yet” along with a music video on September 23, 2022.

Back in June 2021, Mike Posner summited Mount Everest with a team composed of guide Jon Kedrowski, Dawa Chirring Sherpa and Dawa Dorje Sherpa.

The new song is based on his experience of climbing Mount Everest.

The track was written by Mike Posner, Sir Nolan and Sean Douglas. Produced by Sir Nolan.

The accompanying video was directed by Mike Posner and George Gallardo Kattah.

“I was going to die… That was not a 'maybe.' That was a 'for sure.' My life was going to end. Right here. And right now,” Mike Posner explained. “Our tent was violently shaking before it ripped open. Snow billowed in, filling my sleeping bag and mouth. Avalanche. People don't survive these. This was it. I was going to die. Right here at Camp 2 on Mount Everest.”
