After a few months off, Chance The Rapper gets back into the swing of things with his latest single, “Yah Know” featuring Ghanian singer King Promise.
Directed by Chance, the visual captures the Chicago rapper delivering his motivational bars from Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art and during his Africa excursion. The clip also features Chicago visual artist and designer Mia Lee.
“Hold my hand if you scared, hold my hand if you cry,” raps Chance over a sped-up sample of Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know”. “Hold my hand and I’ll drive, close your eyes and I’ll steer / I’m not woke, I’m just tired / I’m not floating, I’m flying, I’m not broken, I’m fine.,” he continues.
Chance The Rapper is currently working on next album, Star Line Gallery. This year, he’s released a slew of music including “The Highs & The Lows” with Joey Bada$$, “Wraith” alongside Vic Mensa, “Child Of God” featuring Moses Sumney, “A Bar About A Bar” and “Writing Exercise #2“.
