Four months after releasing his Herbert album, Ab-Soul releases the visual for the project’s title-track.
Courtesy of Omar Jones, Soulo reflects on life from inside a house which projects various images and vintage photos that bring his lyrics to life.
“They will never understand Herbert Anthony,” he begins on the opening verse. “How I handle tryna battle my insanity / How I play dodgeball with all the vanity / How I share my light like charity,” he continues before comforting a pregnant woman.
Herbert, Ab’s first album in over six years, was released last December featuring 18 songs including collaborations from Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, Joey Bada$$, Russ, Zacari, SiR, and more.
